PROJECT: EUrope

DESCRIPTION: One of the poster-winners, presented at the international Exposition Europe By Designers, emerged as a result of the project of same name, initiated in 2008. in Cannes, in a form of invitation to designers all around the world to express their own vision of Europe. This poster is to ponder and critically express about social and political event of Croatia joining EU. The sole event arises many problems that have not drawn much of media attention, unlike the advantages. The smaller the country, the bigger the number of problems, which is directly connected with geopolitical power and interests of great forces. This message is communicated through words “EU” (European Union) and “ROPE”, put together in a simple equation “EUROPE = EU + ROPE”.

PROJECT: EU Partnership

DESCRIPTION: Poster designed as a part of visual identity for program "PartnerSHIP for EU", organised by Youth Centre Pula, conducted through several workshops and meetings between young people from Croatia and Spain, with aim to develop and further improve their international relationships.

PROJECT: HIV Cage

DESCRIPTION: The poster designed as a contribution to Italian annual, non-profit, social-communication project “Good 50x70”, by organizing Exposition of Posters with thematic subjects HIV+discrimination – Freedom to travel. In fact, HIV positive persons are not permitted to enter and travel in many countries, which represents a violation of basic human rights. By typographic illustration, the poster points out the subject problem and appeals to find a solution.

The poster is also published in Denise Bosler's book "Mastering Type" (HOW Books, USA, 2012.)

PROJECT: War & Peace

DESCRIPTION: The poster designed as contribution to project “Views of  Peace”, of the Institute for Design from Zürich, initiated in 2006., in a form of invitation to designers all around the world to express their own vision of war issue in today’s world. Typographically, the poster points out, through its manifestation of visual information, the problems of people unable to maintain peace i.e. peaceful coexistence with other people, wich eventually ends with war. Following questions "Is Peace the absence of war, or is War the absence of peace, or is Human Life just the name for both? Can We change our Life?" are intended to serve to observer as a guideline for pondering.

PROJECT: Freedom Of Expression

DESCRIPTION: The poster designed as contribution to project Poster for Tomorrow, initiated in 2009. by an independent and non-profit organization “4tomorrow” from Paris, to promote active approach, by using the medium of design. The aim was to design posters containing elements / subject – freedom of expression, in order to generate debates on both local and international level over this issue.
Wave (symbol of strength, freedom and action) is comprised of quotation marks (symbolizing speech, communication and expression); therewith-visual message of freedom of expression, as action to bring positive changes for the whole mankind, has been sent.

CLIENT: Poster for Tomorrow, Paris; YEAR: 2009.

PROJECT: Fist

DESCRIPTION: The poster designed as contribution to project Poster for Tomorrow, initiated in 2009. by an independent and non-profit organization “4tomorrow” from Paris, to promote active approach, by using the medium of design. The aim was to design posters containing elements / subject – freedom of expression, in order to generate debates on both local and international level over this issue.
The poster’s main theme – a fist, generally accepted symbol of being united in fight for a mutual cause; strength etc. Here, this symbol is formed from quotation marks (symbolizing speech, communication and expression) and exclamation marks (symbolizing stressed action). Hereby, the visual message - joined action to achieve final goal i.e. freedom of expression, has been created.

DESCRIPTION: Poster designed as contest proposition for international project Green Earth, in a form of open invitation to designers all around the world to create symbol of ecology, environmental protection and of planet Earth. The solution joins in one ideas of love for nature, environment, responsibility and conscious action directed towards that goal.

PROJECT: Languages Matter

DESCRIPTION: The poster designed as proposal for UNESCO open competition for International Mother Language Day. The core idea is, only by using mother language we are able to speak from the bottom of our heart. So, we must preserve our own mother language and keep it from fading away...

PROJECT: Gambling

DESCRIPTION: The poster designed as contribution to Italian annual, non-profit, social-communication project “Good 50x70”, by organizing exhibition of posters with thematic subject AIDS in the world. The poster points out the danger of risky sexual behaviour. The sperm cell and an egg cell represent a man and a woman; their contact is caricatured portrait of sexual intercourse without appropriate protection. Unprotected sex represents health gambling risk. The danger of getting infected lures from everywhere, regardless of the type of relationship: heterosexual, homosexual or interracial. The solution lies in "safe gambling" i.e. using of protection.
